Jenny Wooten’s sister Karli has been planning and preparing for an opportunity to volunteer in an orphanage in Uganda for three months beginning this fall.
Karli shares this on her website:
The Lord has provided me with an amazing ministry opportunity where I will be volunteering at Amani Baby Cottage in Jinja, Uganda for 3 months this fall.
While reading a book that mentioned an orphanage in Uganda (not the same one I’m going to) the Lord planted a seed in my heart to go minister at an orphanage somewhere in the world.
The very next day I was reading James 1:27 which states “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
