Our Ministry to Children

Our ministry as a church is all about praying and teaching people the Bible and helping them learn to live it. Our purpose for ministering to your children is the same. To that end we work to maintain for your children an environment where we can support your role as parents who are to pray for your children, teach your children the Bible and show them how to live it.

“What’s available for my children?”

Sunday School

When: 10 AM on Sunday Morning
We have been blessed with Sunday School teachers who love children and have been teaching our children the scriptures for many years helping them learn how to live them. Please bring your children to Sunday School each week we begin in the sanctuary at 10 AM and dismiss the children after a brief opening.

Classes for all ages (downstairs)

Age 3 – Grade 2 – Teacher: Bonnie Klenke
Grades 3-5 – Teacher: Brenda Turner
Junior & Senior High – Teacher: Will Kern
We also have a class for adults in the sanctuary which Pastor Kevin leads.

Junior Church (downstairs)

Our Junior Church program is lead by three ladies who share the teaching responsibilities: Jan Baerlocher, Carolyn Pierpont, and Pat Sprague. We wish to help prepare children to listen attentively to the preaching and teaching of the Word, but we understand they may benefit from a teaching environment that allows them to move a bit.
When: During the morning worship hour (children dismissed before the sermon in morning service)
Where: Downstairs
Ages: 3-8

Nursery (downstairs)

When: During Sunday School and Morning Worship Service and as needed during other services
Age: For newborns up to age 3.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer our favorite time with children is during Vacation Bible School. Make plans now to join us this summer for another great week for kids. Click here for more information.
