Mar. 14, Ladies Cabin Fever Lunch – come one come all to the “Cabin Fever Lunchâ€. If you spend the winter doing craft projects, bring your project–quilting, crocheting, baskets, card making etc., to the show and tell at the “Cabin Fever Lunchâ€. If you spend winter curled up by the fire waiting for spring, come and share your fire side dreams. Bring a friend Wednesday, March 14, 2007 11:30 AM, Higgins Lake Baptist Church and bring a bag lunch–dessert provided. To RSVP contact Barb Bishoff. If you or a friend you would like to invite, need child care, we will also be providing free care–please bring children to the parsonage prior to the gathering. Please let us know when you make your reservation, the number and ages of children you will be bringing.
Mar. 17, Youth sledding party 3 PM (weather permitting) at Pioneer Hill — Join Us for a Youth Sledding Party! Bring a Friend and a sled and/or toboggan! Meet at Higgins Lake Baptist Church at 2:30 for a ride or at Pioneer Hill at 3:00 for sledding. We’ll meet for food at Baerlocher’s following the sledding and return home between 6:30-7:30 PM. Please RSVP by 3-14-07 to the church by phone or email.

Family Fellowship Carry-in — Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007
That’s right — a Family Fellowship carry-in dinner, this Saturday at 5 PM. Bring a dish or two to share and bring some friends and join us for some food, fun (and games) and fellowship. This is not just for couples but the whole family and any friends you wish to bring along. This would be another great opportunity for you to introduce a friend to your church family. See you Saturday.

9 AM Prayer Meeting, November 22, 2006
We’ll be doing something a little different for prayer meeting on November 22nd. There will be a morning prayer service at 9 AM Nov. 22, and no evening prayer service so we can all have a little extra time to prepare for Thanksgiving with our family and friends. Our prayer service each week is an important time for us as we pray for one another and God’s work here. Join us–and have a great Thanksgiving.
Operation Christmas Child 2006
Thank you to everyone who helped us this year with Operation Christmas Child. Thanks for saving your shoe boxes and donating the goodies to pack. Thanks to those who helped with the wrapping, lunch and packing. We have 45 shoe boxes to send this year. Please be praying for the 45 children who receive the boxes that they will be filled with joy and most of all that they will receive God’s gift of salvation. Thanksgiving Dinner, November 19, 2006
Join us for Worship at 11 AM November 19 and stay for a Thanksgiving Dinner and an early afternoon Praise, Worship and Thanksgiving Service.
The menu and sign-up is on the bulletin board in the church foyer. We’d love to have you join us.
Operation Christmas Child
Children and youth are invited to join us following the Sunday morning worship service next Sunday, November 12, 2006 to pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. A light lunch will be served–join us for the fun.
